Long Time No See

It's almost two years since my last post. I forgot about my blog. Thought it might be time again to start it up.
It's spring. Spring in the Midwest requires an pre-caffeinated yet aware walk from the car to the office building to avoid stepping on worms. Spring means it is no longer viable to leave your empty lunch containers in the car for days (as I can attest it gets quite smelly). Spring means that allergy and kleenex season is here. Spring means construction and pothole season is once again upon us. Spring means that every day, due to the menagerie of mist, rain, downpour and sleet, is a bad hair day.

New vocab

This past weekend brought me a new word: badonkadonk. I like it. I found myself watching the country music channel - remote accidently got stuck - hearing about badonkadonk.
I plan on using it in sentences such as:
You might find this lodged in your badonkadonk if you don't clean it up.
Could you please move your badonkadonk a little faster?
Get your lazy badonkadonk outside you're looking pale.
That's quite the picnic basket full of badonkadonk.
